A man from Netherhall is pleading for members of the public to help locate his beloved African Grey Parrot ‘Rocco’, who went missing 16 “agonising” weeks ago.
Rocco the African Grey Parrot was last seen in the Netherhall area of Leicester on May 17.
Since then, his owner Robert Towers has been left devastated. Although the beloved bird went missing 16 weeks ago, he refuses to give up hope that he will be returned.
“We’re missing him so much, our lives will never be the same if he does not return,” he said.
“This is ripping our insides apart. 16 agonising weeks have passed and Rocco is still missing and not one confirmed sighting. If any one knows of some one finding or suddenly acquiring and African Grey, then please let us know. We are absolutely devastated,” he added.
Rocco, who is 15, is described as light grey with bright red tail feather. He has a metal ring on his right leg.
Anyone with information is asked to call Rob on 0784 082 8543, or the RSPCA on: 0300 123 4999.
