Nearly 11,000 students across Leicestershire are being offered support and best wishes as they prepare for national exam results days.
Tomorrow (Thursday, 14 August), around 3,000 pupils will receive their A/AS Level, T Level, vocational technical qualification (VTQ), and the majority of their BTEC results. One week later, on Thursday, 21 August, nearly 8,000 students will find out their GCSE results.

Councillor Charles Pugsley, Leicestershire County Council’s lead member for children and families, said: “If you’re waiting for your exam results this summer, we’re thinking of you.
“This can be both an exciting and nerve-wracking time. You’ve put in a great deal of effort and commitment, and we hope your results reflect that. But if things don’t go as planned, please remember there are plenty of options and support available to help you move forward.”
Pupils are encouraged to reach out to their school or college for guidance. Staff will be on hand to advise on next steps, whether that includes further education, employment, or other opportunities.
If you wish to appeal a grade, contact your school or college directly. Should you believe an error has been made even after a review, an appeal can be submitted to the relevant exam board. Full details are available at: www.gov.uk/appeal-qualification-result
