A £5,000 reward has been offered to find a man who’s wanted for Class A drug charges in Leicester.
The charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £5,000 for information on the whereabouts of wanted 32-year-old Sakab Malik, who failed to appear in court.
Malik, originally from Rotherham, was charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine in Leicester. He was due to stand trial at Leicester Crown Court in August 2021, but he did not attend. A warrant for his arrest was issued.
“If you think you know where Sakab Malik is, or think you might have seen him, please speak up and tell Crimestoppers 100% anonymously,” said Lydia Patsalides, East Midlands Regional Manager at Crimestoppers.
“Our charity is here to give people an anonymous option if they prefer not to speak to the police. You can tell us what you know and we’ll pass it on for you.
“As a charity that’s independent of the police, we have always kept our promise of anonymity – we’ve supported millions of people who have trusted us with their crime information since we began in the late 1980s.
Anyone with information about Mr Malik can contact the UK Contact Centre on freephone 0800 555 111, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
