Anyone who needs support with their future plans are being advised that they can arrange to see a Connexions advisor for help. Connexions is a specialist service offering advice on education, employment and training opportunities. It is based in the city council’s dedicated Youth Employment Hub at 2 Wellington Street in the city centre.

“Good luck to everyone who will be getting their exam results soon,” said Cllr Elly Cutkelvin, assistant city mayor for education.

“We all know it can be an anxious and uncertain time, but if you need advice regarding your plans, or need to set new plans, our Connexions advisors are here to help.

“If you don’t get the results you were hoping for, a Connexions advisor can help you find out what your alternative options are. And if you’ve done better than you think, there could be last minute opportunities open to you that you might not have thought about before.

“Whatever your situation, don’t panic! Are trained advisors can help you.”
