Generous members at a Leicester based health club, have donated dozens of Easter eggs to brighten the lives of children facing hardship.
Leicester Children’s Holidays charity received the welcome donation from Bannatynes Health Club and Spa, which is located on the city’s Welford Road.
The charity provides free holidays to children across Leicestershire who are facing poverty or other disadvantages. In the 125 years it has been running, it has provided for over 60,000 youngsters, helping them to make happy memories and develop a fresh outlook on life.
“I am grateful for all the effort from the Bannatyne members in collecting the eggs. The children will be very happy!” said Michelle Cullen from Leicester Children’s Holidays charity.
Marianna Jekimova, general manager at the Bannatyne Health Club & Spa Leicester said: “We can always rely on our members to support good causes, and this was a fantastic response to help local children.
“To be able to donate so many Easter eggs to the charity was fantastic and I’d like to thank everyone who helped us collect so many. I hope the chocolate brings a smile to some young faces.”
