A former Leicestershire police constable is to appear before a gross misconduct hearing following allegations of being “inappropriate” towards women while at work.
Former Police Constable Julian Bishop is alleged to have breached standards of professional behaviour, namely: discreditable conduct; authority, respect and courtesy; and equality and diversity.

It is alleged that between 1 November 2020 and 6 November 2023, while on duty, Former PC Bishop displayed inappropriate behaviour towards female colleagues and/or female members of the public, consisting of unwanted and inappropriate comments.
The hearing will take place at Leicestershire Police Force Headquarters, St Johns, Enderby, on Monday 10 March at 10am. The hearing is scheduled to last for five days.
