Leicester College will be hosting a free, community-wide Bollywood Night to celebrate Diwali – the Hindu festival of lights and one of India’s most joyous and significant festivities.
This family-friendly event from 5-8pm on 7 November, will be welcoming anyone in the local community celebrating Diwali. Those interested in experiencing the glamour and excitement of Bollywood are also invited to join the celebration.

The event allows those attending to experience the rich and colourful culture of Bollywood and Diwali through music, dance, food and crafts. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a night of cultural exchange and community spirit. With activities suitable for all ages, family and friends are encouraged to share in the festivities.
The event highlights will include a variety of free traditional Indian foods, which will be prepared for attendees to help themselves to throughout the evening. Nupur Arts will lead a lively Bollywood dance workshop in the dance studio, where attendees can learn iconic moves and enjoy the vibrant rhythms of Bollywood music.
On the night, there will also be a surprise 2.5-hour Bollywood film screening and a showcase of rangoli art.
