A Hindu spiritual leader was welcomed into Leicester by thousands of devotees, not only from across the country but also overseas.
All of the devotees had travelled far only to have a small glimpse of Shri Dhirendra Krishna Shatriji from Bhageshwar Dham Sarkar, a religious pilgrimage site dedicated to the Hindu god, Hanumanji in Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, India.
His holiness, also fondly known as Guruji or Babaji, is amongst one of Indian’s youngest spiritual leaders. Known for his divine healing powers, Guruji has miraculously solved, mental, physical, economic, and social suffering of thousands of people from across the globe in his religious camp, known as “Divya Darbar”.
This camp was also seen set up in Leicester over the weekend. Crowds had gathered in such mass numbers that Guruji came out of the venue and addressed devotees outside, to give all his holy blessings. Leicestershire police supported in managing the crowds. A devotee quoted: “honoured to have got blessings from Guruji as he drove past in his car, but gutted we couldn’t get in”.
Babaji arrived in Leicester on the 22nd July and will stay until the recital of the spiritual scriptures come to an end on the 28th. The recital continues to be read each day from 4pm -7pm at the Prajapati Hall, Ulcerscroft Road, Leicester.
Thousands of devotees can be seen daily gathered outside the hall in hope to receive his blessings and gain entry to the venue.
The event organised by His Holiness Shri Rajrajeshwar Guruji of Int. Siddhashram Shakti Centre, has promised devotees of a bigger venue for Gurujis next venture in Leicester.
