Job seekers are invited to a recruitment event tomorrow at Leicester’s Fosse Park, where hundreds of jobs are up for grabs.
Huge brands such as Nike, Boots, Primark, Next and M&S will be among those in attendance at tomorrow’s event (Wednesday, April 27), which will be held between 10.30am and 1.30pm at the site in Enderby
Job hunters will be able to find the recruitment fair in Unit 3a at Fosse Park North (adjacent to Regatta), where they’ll have the chance to talk to employers and apply for vacancies, in both the retail and hospitality industries.
Current vacancies are available across Fosse Park, with 16 available at Next, 25 at Primark and six at the site’s Boots store.
Marks and Spencer has two hospitality jobs available, and there will be 40 retail vacancies to fill at the park’s soon-to-open ‘Nike Unite’ store.
The 10,000 sq ft store is set to open at the end of May.
An advert posted online looking for a Sales Associate, says: “As our Nike Store Athlete (Sales Associate) your mission will be to deliver a premium consumer experience by demonstrating the expertise to navigate through individual needs and providing a complete solution through Nike products and services to give consumers what they need to connect, train, and compete with the knowledge to achieve their goals.
“A career in Nike Retail demands creativity and ambition and offers the opportunity to grow with some of the best athletes, teammates and retail partners in the industry”.
Roles in hospitality include 14 at the recently-opened Volpo Lounge, five at Grounded Kitchen, four at Fattoush and five at Isha Patisserie.
The event is part of The Crown Estate’s national employment skills and training programme that provides tailored support to businesses and jobseekers.
