A woman remains in a critical condition following an incident, close to Leicester’s National Space Centre yesterday (Sunday 1 June).
At around 2.54pm, officers were called to a report of an injured woman in Corporation road. She was riding a pedal bike, but this was not at the scene when police arrived.

It is not clear at the moment what has happened in the moments leading up to the woman sustaining her injuries and extensive enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances.
The woman, who is in the 30s, was taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
Detective Inspector Nadia Etteridge said: “We know there were a lot of drivers in the area at the time of this incident – a busy Sunday afternoon.
“Any detail you can provide, no matter how minor it may seem, could be vital to our investigation.”
