AN AWARD winning street art festival is returning to Leicester this May, bringing with it live artworks, skateboarding, breakdancing, BMX, live music and exhibitions.
The award winning ‘Bring The Paint’ International Street Art Festival was established in 2017, and it is set to return to Leicester this spring between May 23 -29.
The festival will attract 8,000 visitors to the city say organisers, and will bring together international, national and local artists to “transform Leicester’s visual landscape with world-class street art.”
The main events are set to happen on Saturday, 28 around the city, and Sunday 29 at Frog Island/The Mill.
“This immersive event played host to an array of activities including live artworks, skateboarding, breakdancing, BMX, live music and exhibitions,” said a spokesman for ‘Bring the Paint.’
“Artists from all over the world came together to showcase an impressive wealth of talent which has gone on to serve as inspiration for further artistic activities within the city of Leicester,” they added speaking of last year’s festival.
“A platform of creative collaboration on a monumental scale Bring The Paint delivered beyond expectations.”
There are a limited amount of plots available for submission artists this year.
