A Leicester City Football player is due to appear in court next month, after being charged with drink driving.
Midfielder Hamza Choudhury was pulled over in the early hours of last Friday morning (January 19) in Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire.
the 26-year-old, who lives in Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire, was arrested on suspicion of refusing to cooperate by providing a specimen of breath it was revealed.
“He has since been charged with driving while over the alcohol limit, driving without due care and attention, and failing to co-operate with a preliminary test,” said Nottinghamshire Police in a statement.
He is currently out on bail and due to attend court on February 23.
