A Leicester singer’s dream became reality last week when she took to the stage at the iconic Glastonbury Festival.

Morgan Munroe delivered four standout performances during the five-day event, held from June 25 to 29. She showcased her original R&B tracks to enthusiastic crowds, beginning with a set on the Lonely Hearts Club stage on Friday (June 27) as part of the MOBO UnSung showcase. She later performed for the Black at Glasto platform.

On Sunday, Munroe joined DJ Ace and Everything R&B on the Terminal 1 stage. In a surprise highlight, she was also invited to perform alongside UK garage legends Lisa Maffia and So Solid Crew on the same stage.

Reflecting on the experience via social media, Munroe wrote:
“Milestones are being achieved right now and dreams are coming true in real time. Mini me would be real proud.”

Morgan Munroe is currently a member of the MOBO UnSung Class of 2025, a platform that spotlights emerging talent in the UK music scene.

Described as “a rising star in contemporary R&B,” MOBO praised Munroe’s artistry:
“Morgan Munroe blends flawless vocals with sharp lyricism and genre-fluid melodies. Her music oscillates between reality and fantasy, masculinity and femininity—crafting deeply personal, yet universally relatable narratives. Whether commanding the stage with an electrifying performance or captivating 33,000 monthly Spotify listeners with her records, Morgan’s artistry speaks for itself—bold, unfiltered, and emotionally rich.”
