Two drivers have been charged following a fatal collision on Glenfield Road, Leicester, in September 2023 that resulted in one death and left two others seriously injured.
Donna Brighton, 60, from Leicester, died after the taxi she was travelling in was involved in a crash with a silver Vauxhall Astra shortly before 8:30pm on Saturday, 16 September.

Two other taxi passengers—a man in his 40s and a woman in her 50s—sustained serious injuries.
Following an investigation by police, Thomas Goulty, 34, of Aikman Avenue, Leicester, has been charged with causing death by careless driving and two counts of causing serious injury by careless driving.
Mohammad Sarwar, 68, of Willow Brook Road, Leicester, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Both men are due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court later today (Monday, 28 July).
