Participants will set off on a scenic journey from the city centre and make their way through the greenery of Victoria Park, passing many of the city’s landmarks en route, including the University of Leicester and New Walk Museum, before heading back towards Leicester Cathedral for the all-important finish line.

Organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, participants are encouraged to fundraise for a charity of their choosing, or one of the event’s official partner charities: Emmaus – Leicestershire & Rutland, the George Eliot Hospital Charity, the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, Shama Women’s Centre, Trade Sexual Health, The Zinthiya Trust, Leicester Tigers Foundation, Wesley Hall Community Centre and Headway Leicester.

Providing a vehicle for participants to fundraise for charity is always the primary aim of every Run For All event, as well as ensuring that the money being raised stays local and supports causes that the community need the most.

Competitors are invited to wheel, walk, jog or run across the course, as organiser’s aim to make every event as inclusive as possible, and they can expect a great atmosphere and enthusiastic crowd supporting them as they make their way around the welcoming city of Leicester.

Set to be more than just a day of running, this year’s event, and those that will follow in the 2026 Run For All calendar, will highlight all of the incredible communities involved, from run clubs, volunteers and schools, to all of the people who come and show support on event day.

Tristan Batley-Kyle, Operations Director at Run For All said,“Leicester is a perfect city location to stage our first event of 2026, and whatever your reason for taking part, whether it’s a personal challenge, fundraising for charity, or just for fun, we welcome all participants to get involved.”

This event is supported by Leicester City Council, Arla Protein, High5, Shokz, Up & Running, Coopah, Marathon Photos Live, Project Servator and JogOn.
