An Opportunity to Perform in Wigston for King Charles III Coronation Celebrations

Singers and entertainers are sought for an event taking place in Wigston to celebrate King Charles’ III’s Coronation.

The celebration event is taking place on Monday, May 8 in the town’s Bell Street. 

It is set to run between 11am-4pm and will feature street entertainers, face painting and music performances.

Oadby and Wigston Borough Council are looking for people to perform, and demonstrate their talents.

“Are you or your children part of a local group which would like an opportunity to perform, showcase your talents and demonstrate what you’re all about?” said a spokesman.

“There are some slots still available on our entertainment schedule and we welcome musicians, choirs, dancers or anything else you can do!”

Events for the Coronation are also taking place in South Wigston on Sunday, May 7 and Oadby on Monday, May 8.
