CHILDREN GET INTO HALLOWEEN SPIRIT AT LEICESTER SHOPPING CENTRE

Hundreds of families joined in the ‘frightful fun’ at a free Halloween event put on at Leicester’s Haymarket Shopping Centre.

The shopping centre organised the free Halloween event to entertain youngsters during the half term holidays (Monday 17 to Friday, 21 October.)

A series of fancy dress competitions were held during the event, which were judged by vampires ‘Brad and Vlad.’

Children got into the spirit of the occasion, by dressing as vampires, aliens, zombies, grim reapers, pumpkins and skeletons.

Seven-year-old Poppy Farwell (pictured bottom left) won a prize for her spooky fancy dress efforts.
