Hundreds of job opportunities will be showcased at a job fair taking place in Narborough next month.
The event takes place from 3pm to 5.30pm on Wednesday 6 March at Blaby District Council offices on Desford Road, Narborough.
Representatives from firms as diverse as transport providers to beauty product professionals will be on hand to chat about their vacancies.
There will also be support for those looking for further training, upskilling or apprenticeship information.
Officers from Blaby District Council will be available to help and signpost while also highlighting roles currently open at the authority. These include a Customer Service Advisor, Environmental Health Team Assistant and part-time Council Tax and Benefits Assistant.
Councillor Terry Richardson, Leader of Blaby District Council, said: “This is our first Job Fair of the year and the perfect opportunity for people to find their next career move or pick up employment or training advice. We have representatives from a diverse range of businesses lined up, all keen to attract new recruits while various agencies will be offering information and guidance.
“Ensuring our residents have the best possible access to opportunities from key partners and organisations is one of the priorities in our new Blaby District Plan. Our Job Fairs bring businesses, support services and residents together to help achieve that priority, encouraging a strong local economy and helping our District be a great place to live, work and visit.”
The offices are easy to get to via car or public transport with parking on site, Narborough train station just round the corner and local bus routes running nearby.
