LEICESTERSHIRE CEO WINS GOLD AT BEST BUSINESSWOMAN AWARDS

A Leicestershire based business woman says she was “shocked beyond belief” to strike gold at this year’s Best Businesswomen Awards.

Trusha Lakhani from Great Business Matters Ltd, in Hinckley, won the Gold Award in Best Customer Service at the Best Businesswomen Awards, which were held at Hilton Wembley on September 30.

She also won a Silver Award in Best Coach in the competition, which seeks to find the very best female business talent from across the UK and Internationally.

Speaking of her award wins, Trusha said: “I was shocked beyond belief when I heard my name read out. There were so many incredible businesses and business women in that room and to hear that my business has won Best Customer Service, well, it really does mean the world to me. To then win a silver award for Best Coach – I thought I was dreaming! These awards are a celebration of all the hard work my team and I have put into not only running and growing our business but in ensuring our clients have been supported and grown too both personally and professionally. I’m delighted and having stopped smiling yet!”

Judges commented on Trusha’s award nominations in Best Customer Service saying: “Trusha’s submission has shown that her business is centred around providing excellent customer service which has allowed it to have become as successful as it is.  Excellent customer service has been embedded into every aspect of her business, from onboarding to end of session procedures, allowing her to personalise her approach to her customers which ultimately gets them results”

The Best Businesswoman Awards, set up in 2015, are designed to recognise the achievements of female owned businesses and charities across a wide range of business categories and are open to any female business owners.

All winners, selected by a panel of business experts, demonstrated a “flair for entrepreneurship, business acumen and an abundance of sheer determination.”

Debbie Gilbert, the organiser of the Best Businesswomen Awards, said: “Owning a business brings incredible challenges. Our awards are designed to showcase female entrepreneurs and recognise their achievements.  The judge’s selection process is rigorous and to win is a major achievement.  Winners are selected for their business expertise, innovation and high levels of customer care. Over the last 12 months Trusha and her business have also won the Women’s Business Club Women in Finance Award, the UK Business Awards Customers Choice Award and been shortlisted as finalists in the Growing Business Awards in two categories –Customer Service Award and the Customer Loyalty Award.

“It’s been an amazing year and, in fact, just this morning I also hear that I’ve been shortlisted as a finalist for the nationally prestigious Forward Ladies Leadership Summit & Awards 2022 in the category Start-up Business of the Year,” revealed Trusha. ” The judges’ session for that takes place next week so wish me luck!”
