Field Sport UK is in the running for a national tourism award, for going the extra mile to ensure that tourists have an amazing and unforgettable experience at their centre in Coleorton.
Field Sport UK, has been shortlisted as one of 10 national finalists in the annual Tourism Superstar competition. The venue offers up to 30 sport, family and team building exercises that support better physical and mental wellbeing and promote the importance of enjoying the great outdoors.
The eco-friendly business makes full use of onsite woodland materials to build composite toilets, pathways and structures, making it one of Leicestershire’s most stand-out sustainable tourism destinations.
The centre also champions young talent – many of whom have gone on to represent sports at a local and global level – as well as helping regulars who have struggled financially or who are suffering from illness, and creating an employment programme for ex-veterans.
