A new food warehouse store will be opening in Syston next week, bringing an estimated 29 additional jobs to the local community.
Iceland Foods is opening the doors to a brand new ‘The Food Warehouse’ store in Syston next Tuesday, May 21.
It will replace the vacant former Wilko store in Melton Road.
To celebrate the grand opening, Iceland are giving out £1,000 worth of Iceland vouchers to the first 100 customers in the queue and customers can get their hands on a number of prizes including a brand new Daewoo Air Fryer.
One lucky customer also has the chance to win a 90 second supermarket sweep-style challenge.
With four Iceland stores already located in Leicester, the launch of the new store will ensure that even more local residents have access to market-leading deals and big-brand products, said a spokesman for the chain.
