Applicants Sought for Miss Leicestershire 2024

Organisers are calling for more Leicestershire women to enter next year’s Miss Leicestershire contest – pointing out that it’s been over 20 years since Leicestershire won the Miss England crown.

Sally Kettle, now an international DJ and model, became the first and only Miss Leicestershire since 1990 to represent England on the Miss World stage in South Africa.

Aiming to replicate her success are three inspiring ladies from the county, who were chosen as the first three contenders during a recent audition at Stu Williamsons Photography studio in Kibworth.

They are: Leicester’s Khushi Baraiva, Loughborough student Tanya Sharma and aspiring Musical Theatre performer Grace Robinson, who is based in Leicester.
