BUS STOPS MOVED TEMPORARILY AS A RESULT OF MAJOR CITY CENTRE FIRE

Motorists are being warned of disruption and road closures following a large fire in Leicester city centre.

Fire crews are tackling a blaze at a disused building on the corner of Gravel Street and Church Street.

Road in the area have been closed, and the disruption is likely to continue for the rest of the day and overnight.

The city’s inner ring has now reopened to traffic, but St Margaret’s Bus Station remains closed along with Gravel Street and Church Gate.

Buses are being diverted and temporary bus stops relocated into neighbouring streets.
