Owen Warner to Host this Year’s ‘Twilight Walk’ for LOROS

Leicester actor Owen Warner, who is best known for his work on Hollyoaks and last year’s ‘I’m a Celebrity’, is hosting an annual walk in the city on behalf of a prominent charity.

The popular personality, who was crowned runner up in ‘I’m a Celeb 2022,’ is hosting a jungle-themed Twilight Walk next month, on behalf of LOROS.

He’ll be using his jungle know-how to lead the walkers through a 10km trek across the city centre on Saturday, July 8, with entertainment along the way to keep everyone going.

Owen is passionate about supporting LOROS and is said to be “delighted” to be hosting the event.

“When I was asked if I’d take part in this event for LOROS it was an immediate YES. I’m proud to be working alongside an organisation that has supported so many families – including my own,” he said.

To fully embrace the ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ theme, Twilight walkers are encouraged to get creative and dress for the occasion. Owen has even promised to be wearing the gold hotpants he wore for the final I’m a Celebrity Cyclone challenge.

Now in its thirteenth year, the Twilight Walk brings the people of Leicestershire together in solidarity to remember their loved ones and raise money for their local Hospice. Together over the past five years, LOROS Twilight Walkers have raised £471,000 for the local charity.
